Earlywarning is an odd concept but strongly credentialed -- a crew of British journalists, veterans of the respected Economist magazine, have started a news service that, rather ambitiously, aims to report on the future. The country analysis business has seen its share of wrong forecasts by academics and former intelligence pros, so why not journalists? For a newspaper, it's expensive, but for country analysis, it's cheap: $600 for an annual subscription.
