Venerable credit rating provider Dun & Bradstreet goes macro and global with its offering of "comprehensive" country reports on cross-border risks. Comprehensive they surely aren't, but the reports do provide excellent economic analysis and specific advice on funds repatriation risks, appropriate terms on which to extend credit, and the like. There's a perfunctory glance at politics, but mainly these reports are for those with an economics interest and tolerance for dull prose (e.g., corporate credit managers). The breadth and depth greatly exceeds anything offered by S&P, Moody's or Fitch.
