Editorial Review of
IJet
[Category: Security Risk]
iJet is another one of those firms started by ex-intelligence types who love 24-hour "situation rooms" that look like NASA mission control. iJet's killer app was software that would link into corporate travel systems and allow executive travellers to be automatically rerouted around terrorists, hurricanes, riots or whatever else. "No one will ever pay for this," we thought, but then along came September 11th and how wrong we were. iJet recently bought the unloved country risk arm of Kroll, so country risk reports should soon be offered. For the time being, see Kroll Intelligence Services' separate entry.
