Control Risks is top dog in the world of security risk. Chock full of British ex-Army and ex-intelligence types eager to regale you with tales of their heroic service in the Sultan of Oman's private army, the company's main business is providing and assessing security. CRG's extensive online country risk reports provide up-to-date security and travel advice, as well as risk ratings, for executives unwisely visiting or investing in the Sudan (or any of over 100 other places). Political risk is covered in these reports, but threats from terrorism, crime, riots, and war are CRG's specialty.
