Multinational Risk Assessment and Management
[Category: Political Risk/Country Risk]COUNTRYRISK.COM REVIEW
It's a good niche: a political risk textbook for business school students. So, for instance, the section on project economics (risk analysis for an international investment) shows how to work political risk into net present value equations.
The book is competently written and edited, but feels a bit removed from reality. A lot of the material doesn't seem to come from either the existing poltical risk literature or from the current practice of corporations. In most cases, the author's advice makes sense, though sometimes seems like it might be hard to implement in practice.
