Lew Howell is a Thunderbird prof with a long history in the political risk business, and it shows with this third edition (2001) of his book. In essence it's a compilation of sample reports and descriptions of methodology from leading country analysis firms -- EIU, PRS, Moody's, S.J. Rundt's, etc. (See our descriptions of each in the Reviews section of this site.) At the end there's a couple of appendices, one talking about MidAmerican's political risk loss in Indonesia, the other on web resources for political analysis.
