A good book, but out of date -- published in 1991. The idea's a sound one. Get a bunch of case studies together on all aspects of political risk: expropriation, instability, international negotiations, legal disputes, scenarios, etc. Featuring Honeywell, Occidental, Amco, and more. And introduce each case study with some political risk theory and context.

It still provides a good primer on political risk for international businesspeople. But the cases are a bit thin -- everyone tries to cover up political risk losses, so making good case studies on political risk incidents is pretty hard.
